samsung_display_4KSamsung, or its Brazilian subsidiary, is currently recovering from a massive robbery that cost the company approximately $36 million worth of goods. According to eyewitnesses, it was a robbery straight out of an action movie, which took place at a factory in the city of São Paulo, which is known for its high crime rate. Shortly after midnight, 20 armed men stormed the factory, capturing employees and removing batteries from their phones to prevent any employees from calling the police.

Subsequently, 7 vans entered the building, into which the robbers loaded a number of phones, tablets and laptops, the total price of which was approximately 36 million dollars. The men, armed with submachine guns, prepared for the robbery in a subtle way, as they used the official uniforms of the workers who work in the given factory as a disguise. Given that the thieves had access to work uniforms and knew where the goods were located, police speculate that someone from within the company assisted in the robbery. No one was injured during the robbery, but Samsung says it is working intensively with the police to track down the stolen assortment and plans to strengthen the building's security in the future.
