Qualcomm announced yesterday that it will make Trimble RTX GNSS correction platform and technology available through firmware updates for its two high-end chipsets, Snadragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 888, in the second quarter of this year. Devices powered by these chips should then be capable of more accurate location tracking and enable user experiences such as in-car navigation with lane guidance to an accuracy of roughly 1 meter.
Samsung wasn't mentioned in Qualcomm's press release, but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 888 are used by several of its devices, so they too will soon be able to use the technology. In other words, smartphones Galaxy powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Snapdragon 888 should improve GPS location tracking and have improved in-car navigation in the coming months.

a year after the publication of your article, it is still wishful thinking. Not even the current Samsung model Galaxy The S23, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, does not support enhanced navigation. Navigation is still at the same level as in 4-year-old models.
