It is not always possible to find a phone with a display on the side in a store and at the same time with top hardware. But could this additional side display affect the phone's speed in any way? The benchmark already gives us the answer to that, where the phone got a truly amazing score of 47 points.
Unfortunately, it is only a version with an Exynos 5433 processor, which offers higher performance than the version with a Snapdragon 805 processor - the latter with its performance only reached the level of last year's Galaxy Note 3, even though it offers exactly the same hardware as the Galaxy Note 4. Version Galaxy However, the Exynos-powered Note Edge is a match for the model Galaxy Note 4 with a Snapdragon processor, which in this case is due to the use of an octa-core processor divided into two quad-core chips. But why is there such a difference between the two versions of Edge? Since the benchmarks were first performed at IFA 2014, there is a possibility that only prototypes of the phone with untuned test software were available at the show, which may also explain why Samsung will start selling Galaxy Note Edge later.
