It only took 4 games and the first quarter-final day of this year's League Of Legends World Championship was a done deal. Samsung White dealt with their North American competitor in the form of TSM almost without hesitation, and although they take their first ever defeat in the tournament from the quarter-final series, they advance to the semi-finals with a score of 3:1 on wins and eliminate Team Solo Mid.
TSM and their star-studded team had it rough from the first game when they lost by a final score of 9-3 and didn't improve much in the second game, Samsung White literally crushed them during it and they were only one loss away from elimination after destroying their nexus. But in the third game TSM surprised and somehow managed to defeat the South Korean team, but in the fourth game they "manged up" and defeated the star-studded team, thanks to which they will already play for a place in the finals next Saturday, against the American Cloud9 or their sister team Samsung Blue, they will fight for a place in the semi-finals tomorrow at 07:15.
