Samsung Blue and the second semi-finalist in the form of OMG will each take home $000 (approx. CZK 5 million, almost €200) from the championship.
It was a really exciting spectacle, when Samsung White won the first 2 final games with a clear hand, but the third one already hesitated and instead of instantly winning the cup, despite a great effort in the last minutes, they lost and had to continue until the fourth game, which the South Koreans from 0:2 and a loss of 1000 gold, they turned the game around perfectly, won several teamfights without a problem, and after twenty minutes the winner was finally decided.
For the Chinese Star Horn Royal Club, the situation from last year's championship is repeating itself, where under the name Royal Club they made it to the finals without much difficulty, but there they were not enough against the South Korean SK Telecom T1 and lost 3:2. For Samsung White, this is the premiere at the World Cup, as the team was formed only last year, but still, just like its sister Samsung Blue, it is achieving huge successes, including the newly acquired title of world champion in 2014.
