Samsung Galaxy The Tab S2 8.0 is a high-end "S" series tablet that was announced on July 20, 2015 and launched in September 2015 alongside the Samsung Tablet Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. It was only available in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi/4G LTE variants.
In late 2016 (early 2017 in the UK), a refreshed model series was released (Tab S2 VE, SM-T710/715/719) replacing the older Exynos 5433 SoC with the newer Snapdragon 652 SoC. Apart from a few minor software changes and system Android The 7.x was largely the same as the previous model.
