That Samsung is dead serious about smart watches is confirmed by the two generations of Samsung Gear watches released in the last year. Apparently, we are also approaching the third generation, which is to be presented alongside Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Gear VR glasses. Well, we cannot yet confirm whether this will really be the case. However, if Samsung were to introduce a constellation of devices from the Gear series in a month, then it is possible that the watch will offer a slightly different design than the Gear 2 or Galaxy Gear.
At least this is what a new patent from Samsung, which recently received a patent for the design of a smart watch with a circular display, suggests. It is thanks to him that the patented watch looks very similar to the Motorola Moto 360, which was introduced earlier and which will go on sale this summer. In its patent, Samsung pointed out other details, such as a modified charging port, which would be located on the strap and at the same time serve to secure the watch around the hand. The watch would also have a camera that would return to the strap, just like it was with the first generation Galaxy Gear.
