The SITA news agency reported that Samsung Electronics has chosen a new CEO for the company's representation in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Since January 1 of this year, it has been headed by Daewon Kim, who has been working at Samsung since 1996. Daewon was previously in charge of sales and marketing for Europe and North America, two of the most important markets for the South Korean conglomerate. He managed it from headquarters in South Korea.

"In previous years, I had the opportunity to gain a lot of experience in managing the company's strategic processes and developing our products, which I use and would like to further develop in the Czech Republic and Slovakia," Daewon claims. Samsung has the largest plant for the production of LED televisions in Europe in Galante, and this plant has been the target of criticism in the past for its controversial practices. We therefore hope that Daewon will bring more morals with him and ensure that the mentioned practices do not happen again. Daewon graduated from Sungkyunkwan University where he majored in French. He also used this in the past as CEO of the Samsung mobile division in France.
