Samsung welcomed the new week with a new smartphone. Shortly after Samsung acquired the trademark on three models Galaxy Core, the company introduced the model Galaxy Core LTE. It is a completely new device that offers an innovative design, new hardware and, above all, support for 4G LTE networks. Although the phone is available in Europe, Russia and selected Asian countries.

The new phone will be sold under two names. While its official name is Galaxy Core LTE, in some countries it will be sold under the name Galaxy Core 4G. In terms of design, there have been several innovations. The design is again a bit cleaner, the rear camera is flush with the cover. For a change, it is made of leather, as is customary with new phones from Samsung. However, the covers have their justification. Samsung hides antennas in them, which allows it to create thinner devices with simpler circuits. Traditionally, the phone will be available in white and black color versions. It is possible that other color variants will appear later.

The phone belongs to the entry-level, which is also reflected in its hardware. This time it is a dual-core processor with 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. It will run on this build Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it is not yet known if Samsung plans to release software updates. Next, we will meet 8GB of storage, which can be expanded by a 64GB microSD card. Finally, there is also a battery with a capacity of 2 mAh inside. On the back we find a 100-megapixel camera with LED flash and automatic focus, as well as the ability to shoot Full HD video. The front camera is one of the weaker ones, as it is a VGA camera. Bluetooth 5, NFC, WiFi 4.0 b/g/n/ and, of course, mobile networks will take care of the device's wireless connectivity. Finally, let's look at the display. Samsung Galaxy The Core LTE has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 960 × 540, which may or may not please you. It is therefore a display with a density of 245 ppi.

Galaxy The Core LTE measures 132,9 x 66,3 x 9,8 mm.
