Yesterday it was just speculation and today it is a reality. Samsung has just introduced a new smart camera via its official blog Galaxy NX mini, which will actually be available in five color versions. Camera Galaxy NX mini is the thinnest and lightest interchangeable lens camera in the world today, weighing just 158 grams and measuring just 22,5 millimeters thick. The camera also offers a 3-inch flip-out touchscreen that can be flipped up to 180 degrees. As already mentioned by Samsung itself, this option is suitable for people who like to take "Selfie" photos.

Because it is a smart camera, it boasts the presence of NFC and WiFi for instant file sharing with friends. We don't know what operating system they are on Galaxy NX mini is running as the system is speculated to be used Android or Samsung's Tizen OS. From a software point of view, however, the camera will offer instant file sharing on Flickr and Dropbox, with the user getting 2GB of free space on Dropbox after registration. This means that Samsung will not give any Dropbox Bonus, as would be the case with Samsung, for example Galaxy S5.

Samsung Galaxy NX mini will also offer several other popular functions that use Tag & Go, i.e. pairing of devices via NFC. You can then share photos via MobileLink, send photos to up to 4 devices simultaneously using the feature Group Share and control the camera remotely using a smartphone thanks to the function Remote View Finder Pro. As the icing on the cake, Samsung mentions the ability to easily transform Galaxy NX mini on the Baby Monitor in such a way that the camera will detect sound and if it detects any, it will automatically send a notification to the paired smartphone. Another important one is the function Wink Shot. This feature allows you to control the camera hands-free, while the sensor tries to detect the blink of an eye. When you're ready to take a photo, simply blink and the camera will automatically take your photo after 2 seconds.

The camera itself also offers a 20.5-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, which will allow photographers to take high-quality photos without any detail being recorded. Samsung adds that Galaxy NX mini has the highest resolution in its class. Thanks to the high-quality sensor and available performance, the camera is able to take continuous photos at a speed of 6 frames per second. It also boasts a shutter speed of 1/16000 second.

Simultaneously with the new one Galaxy NX mini Samsung also introduced a trio of new NX-M lenses that are fully adapted to the camera body. NX-M 9mm F3.5 ED with an ultra-thin design and a wide viewing angle, it is suitable for people who like to take landscape and "Selfie" photos. NX-M 9-27mm F3.5-5.6 ED OIS the lens offers a micro-compact zoom and a stylish design while being small enough to fit in pouches and bags. Thanks to the optical image stabilization, it ensures that the photos are sharp even if the user's hand is shaking. NX-M 17mm F1.8 OIS is intended for photographers who want to enjoy the "Bokeh" effect on their photos, thanks to which people stand out from the blurred background. Samsung has also confirmed that the camera is compatible with the other 15 NX lenses, which require the use of a special NX-M mount (ED-MA4NXM). Sensors are sold separately.
