Star N9500Android a smartphone made in China comes with not normal and unwanted "extra" content, i.e. a malware virus. The Star N9500 mobile phone should already have this virus pre-installed, namely the Uupay.D trojan that affects the Google Play Store. The Trojan should collect information and copy personal data. There is also a microphone that will record conversations even outside the phone. SMS will also be copied. One of the researchers from Kaspersky commented on this mobile saying: "The device is shipped with an extensive spyware program from the factory".

Normally, malware is not part of a new mobile. Let's hope that this does not become a new trend, which unfortunately is also confirmed by one research that says that it is Android was the target of up to 97% of all malware attacks last year. We also found this mobile on eBay for £119 and 55 units have already been sold. Let's just hope that the owners of these mobiles read about their new device on the Internet soon enough and don't give their data to someone behind this act.
