Lee Jae Yong SamsungAfter that, as chairman of Samsung Lee Kun-hee suffered a heart attack, his company began to consider the possibility of starting a search for a new chairman. But it turns out that Samsung won't have to go too far for a new chairman in the end, and if there was a change of leader, then Lee Jae Yong could become the new leader of Samsung. The 46-year-old Lee is the son of current chairman Lee Kun-Hee, but he has accomplished a lot during his career as vice chairman.

The younger Lee was the person who met with the CEO Apple Steve Jobs and was able to conclude cooperation between the two companies. Their discussions go back to the beginning of the millennium, when he was able to convince Apple, to use its components in iPod players. The cooperation took place already in the time when Apple was considering switching from hard drives to Flash chips, and it was then that Samsung came up with its proposal, which enabled Apple to develop the necessary memories that were smaller, lighter and faster. At the same time, it was Lee Jae Yong who was the only one from Samsung to be invited to the funeral of Steve Jobs in 2011. Moreover, he is the one who is trying to settle the disputes between the two companies and according to what we learned during the holidays, Apple and Samsung have decided to end all patent litigation outside the US. Samsung would thus get a person at its head who not only played a significant role in ending disputes with Apple and narrowed the cooperation between them.
