Prague, January 9, 2015 - Samsung Electronics Co., introduced the first LTE Advanced (LTE-A) Tri-Band Carrier Aggregation (CA) smartphone, which is the first device of its type in the world available to the public. LTE-A Tri-Band CA GALAXY The Note 4 will provide a maximum download speed of 300 Mb/s, which is four times higher than the 4G LTE technology available today. It will provide users with an unrivaled multimedia experience, faster downloads, web browsing, convenient streaming and easier use of data-intensive applications.

Samsung GALAXY Note 4 with LTE-A Tri-Band CA technology uses the most advanced network at the moment, always choosing the optimal bandwidth for itself. The device receives three different frequency bands and combines them into one connection supporting LTE Category 6 with a maximum speed of up to 300 Mb/s. Downloading a 700 MB video will take about 19 seconds, and ten 40 MB songs will be available within a second.
Due to the rapid development of mobile and telecommunication technologies, LTE-A Tri-Band CA GALAXY The Note 4 is also ready to provide LTE-A Category 9 connection, which will enable download speeds of up to 450 Mb/s and will be made available to the public at the end of 2015.
Samsung's efforts to provide the fastest 4G LTE connection reached a significant point back in 2014 with the launch of the smartphone GALAXY S5 LTE+ and GALAXY S5 Broadband LTE-A, which also offered the fastest connection at the time. During Mobile World Congress 2014, Samsung introduced the world's first LTE-A Tri-Band CA network connection with a speed of 450 Mbps.
