SamsungWalletWith the arrival of the new payment system Samsung Pay, the South Korean manufacturer has decided to permanently shut down its service called Samsung Wallet. It originally served similarly to the competing Passbook from Apple and provided the user with a "virtual" wallet from which he could, for example, buy theater tickets, pay in stores or buy plane tickets. Now, of course, Samsung no longer sees a use for it and, just like it did before with some services, even Samsung Wallet will interfere.

It will happen on June 30 of this year. All Samsung Wallet reservations made before this date will of course also be valid after it, but it will no longer be possible to make further ones. Below this text, you will find a copy of the email informing you of the cancellation of the service, which you should receive if you are a Samsung Wallet user and reside in the United States of America.
