samsung_display_4KSamsung really knows its way around displays and it's no wonder it's the largest display manufacturer in the world. After all, we can already meet mobile phones with QHD displays, which offer a high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. But you can't stop progress, so Samsung Display plans to push the boundaries much further and at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang it plans to present a display with a much higher resolution and even higher pixel density, which will really be beyond the limits of human perception.

As such, the display is supposed to have a resolution of 11K and a density of an incredible 2250ppi, which is almost four times more than the display found on Galaxy S6. It has a QHD display with a density of 577 ppi, which was mainly reflected in better colors compared to its predecessor. But what an 11K display will look like in practice, especially with such an extremely high density of dots per inch, we cannot imagine. However, work on the display had already started on 1 June/June. Anyway, if the words are really confirmed and Samsung will present an 11K display at the 2018 Olympics, try loading Samsung Magazine on it, we are curious how our website will look there. You do not need to send a screenshot of the screen, after all, in the editorial office we use a display with a modest 1440 x 900 pixels 🙂
