It's only been a few days since I had to give Samsung back its virtual reality, and it's also been a few days since I published a review of the Gear VR Innovator Edition. It seems that Samsung and Oculus are already ready to make VR available to the general public, and that is why the company presented the final version of the Samsung Gear VR intended for end consumers, who can buy it as an add-on to their phone and thus enter another sveta, which, in my opinion, is very interesting and able to engage with a variety of content. Personally, I see the use here mainly in the field of education and documentary films, which are perfect for virtual reality and give you the opportunity to really get closer to the content, you don't just see it in front of you on the screen. And you feel like touching the dolphins or walruses that are around you.
If you are the owner Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ or Galaxy Note 5, so you will have the opportunity to get this nice accessory for 99 dollars, which is a very aggressive price, if we take into account that the Innovator Edition was released shortly before and costs up to 270€. The final version is also characterized by weight, as it is 22% lighter than the previous version. Personally, however, even the Innovator Edition, which I reviewed a few days ago, did not feel like some extra heavy pile of plastic that makes one's head fall off. However, the lower weight is due to the missing head attachment, which was on the previous version. The Gear VR should also have a more precise touchpad, which you will appreciate if you intend to play Temple Run here, for example.
