At the CES 2016, Samsung presented another novelty, the official Made for Samsung certification program, which is in a way an alternative to the Made for program iPhone from Apple, except with a focus primarily on software. Samsung's new initiative is to ensure that the company oversees the development and certification of third-party accessories, which includes not only new products in the Internet of Things world, but also applications from partners such as CNN, The Weather Channel or Photobucket.
Products with this certificate will offer exactly the quality of processing that users of Samsung devices expect. The first hint of this program was supposed to be an exclusive version of Expedia's travel app for phones Galaxy and applications from other partners will be similarly affected. The Made for Samsung collection will cover the complete portfolio of consumer electronics from the Samsung workshop, whether it is mobile phones, tablets, TVs, Internet of Things, smart watches or virtual reality.
