Exactly as it was speculated a few days ago, today Samsung really presented two new versions of the Samsung Gear S2 classic watch, both of which are characterized by the use of premium materials. First of all, it is the previously mentioned Rose Gold edition, which has a gold-plated body with 18-karat rose gold. In the second case, it is quite surprisingly the Platinum edition, and as the name suggests, this one has a body "gilded" with platinum.
More expensive materials are of course reflected in a higher price, but that was to be expected with these premium materials. These are also used for the straps, the Rose Gold version gets a genuine ivory strap, while the Platinum version gets a genuine black leather strap. In addition, Samsung has announced that these new models will have NFC support for Samsung Pay, so there is nothing to worry about. Both models go on sale next month, but prices have not been announced.
