A report last week indicated that the upcoming Galaxy Samsung's S8 will arrive in two sizes. Both variants should offer a curved display across the entire front and should boast dimensions of 5,7 and 6,2 inches. Samsung is said to increase the size of the display without having to increase the overall size of the phone by removing the top and bottom bezels, thus getting rid of the physical home button and introducing a completely new design for its flagship models. But what is the real reason that Galaxy Will the S8 come in two sizes?

A new report comes claiming that Samsung will offer a 6,2-in Galaxy S8 in order to win back users who left the brand due to explosive Galaxy Note 7. There are not a few users who want a high-end phablet with a giant display, which Samsung is aware of, and after the fiasco with the Note 7, many of them switched to competing brands such as Apple, Huawei and others.

The Investor confirms both reported display sizes and also claims that the South Korean giant will no longer offer its flagship model with a regular display. Both variants will have a curved display like the Edge models. The report also comes with the interesting fact that Samsung will switch to a new naming scheme for its smartphones, and that's what the larger model with a 6,2″ display should be called Galaxy S8 Plus.
