Samsung SDI musí kvůli fiasku, které způsobil Galaxy Note 7, čelit obrovskému mediálnímu tlaku. Na to samozřejmě inženýři a nejvyšší šéfové reagovali a své zaměstnance se rozhodli maximálně motivovat, aby pokračovali ve své skvělé práci.
"We should create a corporate culture where safety plays a major role. Everyone is doing a great job and it needs to be continued..” said the company's CEO, Cho Nam-Seong.
The Korean manufacturer plans to increase investment in safety research in the new year, as well as improve and redesign designs, manufacturing methods and organizations.
"Competitive manufacturers have a big advantage over us because they are based on basic competitiveness, i.e. in terms of development, production, quality and price"
The company's main priority is to improve material development, build a standard development process, and strengthen the capacities of individual company branches, including outside South Korea. Samsung SDI also stated that if they can improve the company culture, it will make communication easier. Among other things, Samsung SDI has been accused and named as the main culprit behind the Note 7 fiasco, even though there is no evidence.
