Probably only some of you know that together with many Galaxy A (2017) also saw the light of day with the new Secure Folder application, which was already pre-installed on models from this series. The application thus remained a premium matter only for the latest models of this year, but now Samsung on its blog he announced, that Secure Folder also issues pro Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with Android 7.0 Nougat.

And what is the application actually for? It's a more user-friendly version of Samsung's KNOX security feature, which lets you create a separate place on your phone for all your important apps and data. Everything you do in Secure Folder—create a document, take a picture, or perhaps create a new note—will not be available for normal operations, meaning that no one but you can access that data, not even apps.

So if you create a place specifically for apps via Secure Folder, you can, for example, use two WhatsApp accounts on one device. Thanks to this, you can actually be logged in to two accounts even in applications that do not support multiple accounts.

If you are interested in the application, you can have it on your own Galaxy S7 or S7 edge download v Galaxy Apps store. But don't forget that you need a new one Android 7.0 Nougat, which is currently only available for O2 and Vodafone. If you want to install the new version of the operating system also on your T-Mobile or over-the-counter model, then use our instructions, which we link to above.

Samsung said in its report that Secure Folder will be available for other devices as well. Therefore, the owners should also see the application soon Galaxy S6, S6 edge or perhaps Note 5. But first the mentioned devices must receive an update to Android Nougat.
