If you own Samsung models Galaxy S5 mini and Samsung Galaxy A3 (2015) so you should pay attention and definitely read this article. From the beginning of March, the software update for both mentioned models began to be released. These are SW versions marked XXS1CQD5 for A3 (2015) and XXU1CQA1 for S5 mini. The problem is that after downloading the update these phones have problems.

In both versions, the phones have an auto-brightness problem. In practice, it works in such a way that when the automatic brightness reaches its maximum, for example outside in direct sunlight and during this the display is locked and unlocked, the brightness cannot return to the original maximum value. The display will only stay on for about half the value. In such lighting conditions, the display is unreadable.
Currently, the official solution is not yet available. In places with a strong light source, it is good to use manual brightness adjustment for correct operation. But who would still like to keep the set automatic brightness, it is possible. Well, after subsequently unlocking the display, it is necessary to cover the brightness sensor with your hand. Then the display lights up and everything works again until it is locked. We have already approached Samsung with this problem, but they have not commented on it yet.
We expect this issue to be fixed in the next updates. It is not directly a defect of the phone, but it is just an untuned software. There is no need to claim the device.
Samsung Galaxy S6
For the Samsung model Galaxy S6 has changed in the latest software version XXU5EQE6. Samsung is starting to remove the video calling function in the phone item from these versions. For now, it is only the Slovak open market (ORX), but it is certainly not excluded that such a fate awaits other distributions as well.
The video call function will not appear in this model and in future updates and will end. At least this is what Samsung told us.
Arguably, the era of smart apps has achieved what they were created for. It is only a matter of time when the functions from our mobile phones will gradually disappear.
