A few days ago, we informed you that Samsung was ranked in the Top 5 of the prestigious list of the most influential Asian companies created by Forbes magazine. However, according to the latest information, it seems that its position is even better.

The ranking of the most valuable companies in the world, compiled by the company Interbrand, speaks quite clearly. Although American companies are still a solid lead ahead, Asian companies are trying to catch up. And the most promising position in this race was taken over by the South Korean Samsung after years of Toyota's rule.

In the graph, you can see that Samsung holds a very solid sixth place, leaving behind even giants such as Sony and Hyundai. Even the recent arrest of Samsung CEO Lee Jae-yong, who is serving a sentence for bribery, did not change the ranking.

"Samsung has tried to strengthen its position as much as possible in the last ten years. This was achieved despite occasional uncertainty at the top," said the director of the company that compiled the entire ranking.

And the top of the table? He probably won't surprise any of you. Apple holds first place with a commanding lead, second place is taken by Google, followed by Microsoft, Coca-Cola and Amazon. It is Amazon that has been trying to make great progress lately, and it is possible that it will succeed in the coming months without any problems. On the contrary, according to recent reports, Coca-Cola is not doing as well as it would like. So we'll see how the company ranking gets muddled in the coming months.
