In the past weeks, we have been in touch with you about the upcoming presentation of the model Galaxy The S9 also announced a new generation DeX dock that will turn your phone into a personal computer. Because you are the first generation owners Galaxy S8 or Note8 were relatively popular, it was quite clear that the South Korean giant will decide to create a successor that will easily surpass its predecessor with its capabilities.
The novelty, which should bear the name "DeX Pad", should be quite significantly different from the first generation of this dock. It should be flat, thanks to which the phone connected to it could serve as a keyboard or TouchPad. This would eliminate the need to carry an external mouse or keyboard with you, which can be really useful in many cases. A very reliable leaker also confirmed this theory with his leaks Evan Blass, who has already hit the mark many times with his predictions.
As you can see in the gallery above, the new DoX will reportedly include a fan to cool the phone, two USB ports, an HDMI port and a USB-C port for power. With a bit of exaggeration, it can be said that you can connect practically everything to your DoX-connected phone without much trouble.
So if the second generation of DoX presents itself exactly like this, we will certainly not be angry. As I already wrote in the previous paragraph, using the phone as a keyboard or TouchPad eliminates unnecessary dragging of other things, which could make it easier for many of us to use it. Whether Samsung will actually resort to this step, however, we cannot confirm 100% at the moment.
