Thanks to its population, India is a very important market for many global companies, which in some cases can even decide the success or failure of a given year. In recent years, Samsung has managed to dominate this market in particular, and it succeeds in selling practically all of its products. Whether it's phones, televisions or home appliances, Indians buy them from Samsung in large numbers and thanks to this, the South Korean giant generated a turnover of almost 9 billion dollars last year alone. But Samsung wants more.

South Koreans are well aware of the success of their products and therefore intend to benefit from it even more this year. Therefore, at a meeting with business partners, the company's management boasted of an ambitious plan that aims to extract more than 10 billion dollars from the Indian market. Samsung could achieve this mainly thanks to its efforts to target some of its products specifically for the market there.

Although Samsung's plans are certainly very ambitious, their implementation will not be a walk in the park. At least in the smartphone market, Samsung competes with the Chinese company Xiaomi, which is able to offer its customers really interesting models at unbeatable prices that Samsung cannot match. However, since smartphone sales in India account for 60% of all profits for Samsung, it is by no means going cheap in this field either. But will it be enough to accomplish its goal? We'll see.
