Even today, we will not deprive you of a regular dose of information about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10. Its introduction is fast approaching, which goes hand in hand with leaks, thanks to which we can get a picture of this model well in advance. This time, leaker Ice Universe contributed his grist to the mill.

The leaker published a message on his Twitter, in which he claims that in Galaxy The S10 doesn't come with an iris scanner. It replaces the fingerprint sensor implemented in the display,  which should be ultrasonic. We can therefore look forward to very fast and, above all, reliable authentication, as this type of sensor is much more reliable compared to the optical one, which can also be used for implementation in the display.

Samsung decided to cancel the iris scanner, probably mainly because of the effort to narrow the upper frame of the display as much as possible. According to available information, it should be almost removed, while Samsung will place the camera directly in the display, or rather in the hole in it.

Whether today's leak is based on the truth or not is of course unclear at this point. However, if we were to get a really high-quality fingerprint reader in the display, the cancellation of other authentication methods probably wouldn't bother anyone too much.
