Samsung has announced that it will replace the plastic packaging of its products with paper and other environmentally friendly materials. The South Korean company's plan to first reduce and then completely replace salaries in the packaging of its products is now part of company policy. This will also result in a change in the chargers that Samsung bundles with its phones.

The plastic packaging that the South Korean giant currently uses will be gradually replaced from the first half of this year.

Samsung has set itself the task of changing the packaging of its products so that it is more environmentally friendly. Therefore, teams from various departments of the company put their heads together to come up with completely new packaging for their products. For smartphones, tablets and wearable electronics, Samsung will get rid of plastic holders inside the boxes. Accessories for these products will now be packaged in packaging made from sustainable materials.

Along with this, the South Korean company will also change the design of its adapters. We're all familiar with the shiny chargers that Samsung has bundled with its products for years. But now that's over, we'll only see chargers with a matte finish. However, it is not yet clear when exactly Samsung will start delivering these modified chargers.

The change in packaging will also apply to televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners or washing machines. Samsung plans to use 2030 tons of recycled plastic by 500.
