Press Release: At the ongoing IFA 2019 trade fair, TCL presented a comprehensive range of innovative and intelligent products for the smart home, from branded mobile phones, headphones, soundbars to new TV models. The unifying element of the new products is the combination of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things "AI x IoT. Legitimate interest was aroused by the new model series of televisions with 8K resolution and other original solutions. The new model series are based on the assumption that the basic criteria for high image quality will be 8K resolution, high contrast and brightness will be provided by Mini LED technology, and fuller colors will be provided by QLED technology.

TCL 8K QLED X
Modelová řada TCL 8K QLED X převezme funkci vlajkové lodi a bude k dostání ve velikostech 85″, 75″ a 65″. Je navíc vybavena dosud neobvyklými funkcemi. Například má vysunovací vestavěnou kamerou, která se ovládá automaticky podle používané aplikace. TCL 8K QLED X bude také podporovat aplikace rozšířené reality (AR). Dalším originálním prvkem je jedinečné řešení využívající dvojitý displej. Vedle hlavní obrazovky televizoru má uživatel možnost sledovat dodatečné informace nebo obraz z jiného zdroje, či pomocí této menší obrazovky umístěné na středu soundbaru ovládat propojená zařízení chytré domácnosti.
TCL X series TVs with 8K resolution will be available in selected markets in the second quarter of 2020. As early as the fourth quarter of 2019, these model series will be available in 4K resolution (without camera).

TCL 8K Mini LED
The TCL 8K Mini LED model series will be available in a wide range of sizes and function variants. The premium model will have a size of 75″ and a resolution of 8K. The backlight will use 25 high-performance LEDs providing stunning brightness (200 nits). The LEDs will be divided into 1 zones. The result is remarkable contrast and an abundance of display detail.
TCL's 8K Mini LED series TVs will be available in select markets in the second quarter of 2020. 4K versions and 65″ and 75″ sizes will be available later this year.
