It's only been a few days informed that India has decided to toughen up its fight against Chinese domination and will systematically ban any apps that could potentially affect the integrity and security of citizens. After successfully banning such applications as WeChat, Alixpres or TikTok, the Indian government is proceeding with another, quite drastic change. It will no longer be possible to import smartphones from several Chinese brands. Manufacturers such as Xiaomi or Oppo are in the foreground, however, the proposal should also apply to iPhones, which Apple it is popularly produced in the aforementioned China.

However, this is not groundbreaking news, as the Indian government has been actively preventing companies from importing since August. Thus, it was not only technological giants such as Oppo and Xiaomi who had difficulties, who could not import smartphones and smart devices into the country, including wearable ones, but a certain resistance was felt by Apple. Although the latter has recently been trying to reduce its dependence on China, thanks to which several gigantic factories have already grown up in India to cover the demand for the market there, however, the apple company is still more or less forced to import a certain percentage of pieces. While other manufacturers from other parts of the world can handle all the requirements within 15 days without any problem, in the case of the mentioned companies the formalities take up to two months. The government thus purposefully and systematically makes imports more difficult, which it excuses by trying to create jobs and, above all, to force multinational corporations to produce directly in the country.
