Samsung regularly updates native applications on its smartphones and tablets. With the updates to One UI 3.0 and 3.1, the tech giant has added various useful features to them. It has now released a new update for the native clock application, which brings several useful features and deeper integration with the Samsung Health application.

The latest version of the Samsung Clock app can help the user track their sleeping habits. He can set his daily sleep schedule (usual bedtime and wake up time) in Bedtime mode, which then shows him how much sleep he gets during that time. The application can also remind the user every day to go to bed according to the "night time" set by him. To help him sleep better, the app can also connect with an "app" Androidat Digital Wellbeing to mute all incoming notifications and switch the display screen colors to grayscale.

SmartThings is also integrated into the app, which means that Samsung smart TVs and compatible light bulbs can help the user get up by playing their favorite music or gradually brightening the room. From the main screen, tap Sleep Details to go directly to the Samsung Health sleep tracker. If the user is the owner of a smart watch Galaxy Watch, you can view detailed statistics about your sleep.

These new features appear to only work on devices running One UI 3.1 so far, so if you have a smartphone or tablet running One UI 3.0 or earlier, the new features may not work for you in the clock app. Last year, Samsung integrated a music streaming service into it Spotify.
