Samsung has started releasing a two-year-old mid-range smartphone Galaxy A50 update with OS Android 11. In addition to the One UI 3.1 user interface, it includes the March security patch.

The update carries firmware version A505FDDU7CUBC and clocks in at just under 1,9GHz. In addition to improved user interface design, it also improves performance Galaxy A50. Android 11 brings a number of innovations including chat bubbles, one-time permissions, a conversation section in the notification panel, a separate widget for media playback or easier control of smart devices.

The One UI 3.1 extension to the ever-popular phone brings, among other things, an improved dynamic screen lock, improved widgets on the lock screen and always-on display, the ability to add your own images or videos to the call screen, improved native applications and camera auto-focus performance, and last but not least, the ability double tap to turn off the display.

The update is on Galaxy The A50 is distributed in phases, which means that not everyone will receive it at the same time. If you haven't received it yet, you can check its availability manually by opening the menu Settings, by selecting the option Software update and tapping the option Download and install.
