YouTuber Golden Reviewer noticed that the 3x and 10x telephoto lenses in Galaxy The S22 Ultra are slightly smaller than the u Galaxy S21 Ultra. On the other hand Galaxy The S22 uses a Sony IMX754 lens with a 1/3,52-inch sensor size, a focal length of 7,9mm for the 3x lens and 27,2mm for the 10x lens. Here the pixel size is 1,12 microns.

For unknown reasons, Samsung decided to Galaxy The S22 Ultra uses a smaller Sony-made sensor instead of its own solution. Of course, it doesn't have to mean anything yet. A recently leaked 100x zoom video also tells us rather the opposite. But only real tests will bring answers.
