At the beginning of the week, Samsung started for headphones Galaxy Buds2 release update, which brings 360° sound support. Now headphones also get this function Galaxy Live Buds.

New update for Galaxy Buds Live carries firmware version R180XXU0AVC2 and brings improved system stability and reliability in addition to the surround sound feature. Improvements in sound and call quality alone are not included in the update, unlike the pro update Galaxy Buds2, which just improves calls as well.

If you are the owner Galaxy Buds Live, you can get the surround sound feature by updating the headphones to the latest software by opening the app Galaxy Wearable and tap on Headphone Settings→Headphone Software Update. Before installation, do not forget to charge the headphones to at least 50% of the battery capacity.

360° sound only works when watching videos (streaming and offline) and only with Samsung smartphones. Recall that the feature was originally exclusive to Galaxy Buds pro, which are currently the top-of-the-line wireless headphones from the Korean tech giant.
