Samsung's display division Samsung Display has for this year's smartphones Galaxy a total of 155,5 million OLED panels prepared. Of that, she ordered 6,5 million from China. This is reported by The Elec website, which cites the SamMobile server.

Specifically, Samsung Display ordered the aforementioned 6,5 million OLED displays from the Chinese companies BOE and CSOT, with 3,5 million to be delivered by the first mentioned and 3 million by the second. Last year, the division secured 500 from these companies, or 300 OLED panels, but at that time Samsung ordered significantly fewer displays with this technology. One of the smartphones that could be equipped with new OLED panels from the BOE and CSOT workshop is Galaxy A73 5G.

There is one more news regarding Samsung's display division. According to analysts' estimates, this year Samsung Display could supply Apple with 137 million OLED panels for its iPhones, which would be 14% more than last year. In addition to OLED panels from Samsung Display, the Cupertino smartphone giant should receive 55 million panels from LG Display and 31 million from the mentioned company BOE. In terms of the entire iPhone display market, Samsung has the largest share with 61 percent, followed by LG with 25 percent and BOE with 14 percent.
