In recent years, we have more or less become accustomed to the fact that the repairability of devices is simply poor. It is also usually the case that the user is unable to repair anything at home and must visit a Samsung service center. Recently, however, all this has been changing drastically, and for the better. In addition, the company wants to launch an additional program in which recycled components will be reused.

He came up with it first Apple, Samsung followed him with a similar idea relatively recently and it didn't take long either Google's response. It is Samsung that wants to go even further in this regard, and therefore wants to launch a repair program for its mobile devices, in which recycled components will be used. All for a greener planet, of course.

Samsung device service at half price

The goal is to reduce waste by reusing used hardware through a mobile device repair program. The company would reportedly offer recycled parts certified by the manufacturer as a full replacement and would also ensure that they are of the same quality as new components. This additional program should be launched within the next few months, probably already during Q2 2022.

It has several advantages. So not only will you get the warm feeling of reducing your carbon footprint, but you'll also save money doing so. Such parts could cost only half the price of a new part. So if this actually happens, it will ideally fit into the company's current vision. It already uses recycled fishing nets for certain plastic components in the line Galaxy S22, in addition to reducing e-waste, we are also saying goodbye to power adapters in product packaging across the company's entire portfolio.
