The Smart Clear View Cover is of course primarily designed to protect the device. Because it's flip, it also covers your phone's screen, so you can carry it in your backpack or cable without worrying about scratching your screen. For this, it contains all the necessary transitions, as well as the possibility of control with buttons. And then there is the smart window.

The window is not just for numbers
By the fact that the cover is also over the display, its control of missed events is of course impaired. This is common for flip cases, but since there is a window, you can see everything important in it. Just turn on the display with the button (or tap the display with your finger in the window) and you will immediately see the time, date, or battery charge capacity.

At the same time, they are displayed here informace about the caller, you can easily control the music or check notifications in it. Even if you have the cover closed, the display is active in the window area. So you can switch between several pages here. So you don't have to flip it just to find out who is calling you. Thanks to the cutout in the speaker area, you can also handle calls even with the case closed.

However, if you have set a double press of the power button to start the camera, it is not possible to take pictures with the cover closed. In the window, the device will ask you to open the cover. Only then will you see the camera interface.

The Clear View flip case contains, except for the window on the display and for the camera assembly and illuminating LED, as well as a passage for the USB-C connector, so that you do not have to remove the device from the cover to charge it. Wireless charging is not a problem for him either. Of course, there are also penetrations for microphones, so that the other party can hear you well, or for the speaker, so that you, on the other hand, can hear the content being played from the phone well.

The power button and volume buttons are then covered and you control them via those on the cover. It's extremely simple and without a single problem. The overall dimensions of the cover are 75,5 x 149,7 x 13,4 mm and its weight is 63 g, which is not at all small and you have to take into account that with Galaxy This brings the S22 to a total weight of a whopping 240g.

With the case, you practically don't need to use the power button anymore. By opening it, you will automatically unlock the device (of course, it depends if you use any security). Closing it also automatically turns off the display, so you don't have to turn it off manually. It's a pity that there is no magnet that would hold the part over the display to the body of the cover. Its opening is therefore too easy and practically without resistance. It is a fundamental disadvantage of the whole solution.

The case also contains an antimicrobial coating that helps protect against germs and microbial contamination (this is a biocidal substance called Pyrithione Zinc). Samsung also states that its cases for Galaxy S22 gives new life to recycled materials.

The price is set reasonably
As for putting the phone in the case, it's really simple and fast. It is ideal to start with the upper side and just snap the lower one. Taking it out is worse. If you only need to push the phone when inserting it into the cover, when taking it out you have to push the cover away, ideally in the upper right corner (as the instructions in the package say, by the way). Even so, he doesn't like the phone too much. It takes a little practice to find the right grip. However, it is true that you probably won't take it off very often anyway.
Clear View flip case for Galaxy The S22 is available in black, burgundy and white. Its recommended price is 990 CZK, but you can buy it from around 800 CZK. Of course, there are also those for larger models, that is Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It's still missing there informace about the fact that you can set a photo in that window, or even several photos that will appear when the cover is closed. The photo shows the hours and percentage of charge, at least that's how I set it up.
Samsung could also allow third party app access and it would be perfect.

Setup is simple. In the settings menu, go to – External screen, at the top is – Clock style, click on it. Well, there it is again at the bottom - Image on the background of the clock. When you click on it, the classic whole gallery of what you have on your mobile will open and you can put either one or as many photos/images as you want.
That packaging is horrible. On the Note8, it was "semi-transparent" across the entire screen, calls could be received, and the clock was clearly visible. I didn't have Note9, Note10 already had only a thin strip, but in the end it was so good, displaying notifications, receiving calls without opening it. Again, I didn't have a Note20, but this one on the S22ultra is perfect. The hole that doesn't protect the glass in the finale, the fact that cameras can fit in it is ok, but it still wobbles there..horror. And there is no decent flip case on the market 🙁
