Although the Chrome browser has been visually updated many times over the years, Google has not changed the basic user experience with it because it did not want to "disorient" the user. For some time now, however, in Chrome pro Android there is a test of the redesigned New Tab Page (NTP) interface, which according to some voices changes several things for the worse. Fortunately, there is a way to go back to the old version.

After open androidnew Chrome, after some time the modified version of NTP will be displayed to the user. The Google logo is significantly smaller, with the address bar located much higher. Below the bar with recently visited sites (in the form of favicons), located below the address bar, is a shortcut for "Continue browsing" and below that the Discover and Following feeds.

The good thing is that the user has quick access to the bookmark switcher in the upper right corner, which makes this UI fit in with the rest of Chrome. This allows users to return to what they are currently doing in the browser, even if it means taking an extra step. If you don't like the new version of NTP, you can go back to the old one. You do this by typing in Chrome's address bar chrome :/ / flags, at the very bottom you select an option Disabled and close and restart the browser.
