May 11th is the day of the change when Google will limit the way app developers can use the Accessibility API, and therefore the day that phone call recording through third-party apps will be restricted. Even if native call recording in the environment of Samsung phones is not allowed in the Czech Republic, there is still a way around it.
A blog came up with the instructions artushthis.eu, even without rooting the phone. It does this by changing the CSC region, which is a code for a specific country and is paired with devices Galaxy. Samsung creates different software for different countries. To check what CSC region code is on your device, go to Settings -> About the phone -> Informace about the software and look at Service provider software version. You can find individual codes for individual areas, e.g. <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>.
According to the blog, after the change, everything works correctly, including updates. The only exceptions are the Samsung Free, SamsungPay or Caller ID applications. and spam protection. But it depends a lot on the CSC you choose. The procedure to change is that you first enable developer options (click Build Number 7 times in Software Information) and download to your computer SamKEY CodeReader and Samsung drivers.
But you will need one SamKEY credit to change CSC, when 15 of them cost $45. On eBay but you can get 2 credits for less than 12 dollars. Next, connect the phone to the computer and change the CSC as described in the video above. For a textual description of the step-by-step instructions, see PULL.
I used this method 2 years ago for my S10e and now I have a Thai rom with native recording. I had a little doubt about the safety of the process, but everything is fine and without problems even after years. I will eventually buy an S22 and do the same.
Thanks for confirming the "safe" process.
I have a Xiaomi 11T Pro and a Google dialer that has built-in recording.
Samsungs have it too, but not for our market.
It's difficult because of personal data protection. Google should automatically report the fact of uploading and beep every minute. I don't know, I haven't tried yet.
It was the third-party applications that did not beep. If they beeped, everything would probably be fine. Likewise, if the other party is not informed about the monitoring, the given recording cannot be used against them afterwards. So in the case of law, recording a conversation with a colleague or superior is of course different.
can someone confirm that it also works on the Samsung S21FE?
