Sony launched the new Xperia 1 IV flagship. It attracts not only high performance or a high-quality display, but above all a revolutionary camera. The phone has a 6,5-inch AMOLED display with 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm's current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, which is paired with either 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, or 12 and 512GB of storage.

The camera is triple with a resolution of 12 MPx, the main one has an aperture of f/1.7 and optical image stabilization (OIS), the second is a telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.3 and OIS, and the third is a "wide-angle" with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 124° angle of view . The set is completed by a 3D depth sensor with a resolution of 0,3 MPx. All cameras can otherwise shoot videos in 4K resolution with HDR at 120 fps, and the front camera also has a resolution of 12 MPx.

Let's dwell on the telephoto lens for a moment, because it is not just any other. It boasts continuous optical zoom at a focal length of 85-125 mm, which corresponds to a 3,5-5,2x zoom. Let us recall here that the company already introduced such a lens with a variable focal length in last year's Xperia 1 III, but this model could only switch between a focal length of 70 and 105 mm, and the intermediate steps were calculated digitally.

The equipment includes a fingerprint reader built into the power button, NFC, stereo speakers and, of course, support for 5G networks. In addition, the phone is equipped with an IP68/IPX5 degree of resistance. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 30 W (according to the manufacturer, it charges from zero to 50% in half an hour) as well as fast wireless and reverse wireless charging. Unsurprisingly, the almost clean version takes care of the software run Androidu 12. Xperia 1 IV will go on sale in June and its price will be CZK 34. What do you think, it will be a worthy competition for the series Galaxy S22?
