Staying in touch will be easier than ever thanks to a special summer offer from operator O2. As the first ever operator on the Czech market, it will launch the long-awaited O15 Smart Watch service for Samsung on June 2 Galaxy Watch4. Thanks to the eSIM, it makes the Samsung smart watch a completely separate unit. But it is not completely without limitations.
Every O2 customer will be able to activate the O2 Smart Watch in just a few steps directly from the application Galaxy Wearable on the phone. It will be possible to call, date or write SMS from the watch for free for 6 months. After they expire, the service will cost CZK 99 per month. T-Mobile has the same functionality for Apple Watch Cellular. It offers 3 months free and then also a fee of CZK 99 per month for using the service Apple Watch connection.
In connection with the launch of the O2 Smart Watch service, the operator is at least thinking about those customers who are Samsung Galaxy WatchThey don't have 4 yet. If you stay with him between June 1 and 30 you buy Samsung watch Galaxy Watch4 LTE 46mm in black, then you can get a voucher for a second, smaller Samsung watch Galaxy Watch4 LTE 40 mm for just 1 CZK. You will thus save CZK 6, and you will also make someone close to you happy. To get a second watch, it will be enough for the customer to log in to the My O498 application and generate their code in the O2 Radosti section. He then simply redeems it in the O2 e-shop.
I would like to know how I was able to make calls in the last months from esim tmobile, which I uploaded to my watch
Since the beginning of sales of Samsung watches galaxy watch 4 classic LTE with T-Mobile in 2021 is the option to activate an e-sim and use the watch to make calls independently. So it's not true that O2 were the first. They are more than half a year late. Maybe the author of the article should check before writing something informace...
The author drew from a press release where it is said: O2 will be the first operator in the Czech Republic to offer eSIM for Samsung Watch and will launch the O2 Smart Watch service, which will also be free for customers for six months.
These "journalists" do not think at all when copying press releases, and unfortunately they do not even understand what they are actually writing about 🙄.
We have been able to make calls from watches with eSIM support for a long time, now for the first time in the Czech Republic it will be possible for Samsung watches to have the same phone number in both the mobile phone and the watch, and it can also be switched on at the same time 👍.
I have a Samsung watch Galaxy Watch4 LTE two eSIM profiles: Vodafone and T-Mobile. It also worked on Galaxy watch 3
All the people who write here that they are calling from esim TM or VF did not understand that with O2 they can have the same number both in their watch and in their mobile phone and active at the same time...
With which operator can you have the same number in your watch?
I'm just a user of these toys, not a fanatic. However, after talking to an O2 guru at an O2 store, I also got the impression that it was one number for both devices. I'm already looking forward to 25.06.
Sorry, a mistake crept in - 15.06.2022.
I activated the service, but I don't know how to upload it to the watch when I start the Galax y Wearable, so it wants a code from me that I got from the operator, but I didn't get any code and they don't know how to make it work at O2.
I'm on it anyway, it wants me a code and no one at O2 will tell me where the problem is.
Hello, please have you solved it yet? I have the same problem, wearable wants a code but O2 doesn't have one and doesn't know how to give it to me... Thanks
