Samsung has released a new ad in the form of a short film inspired by the series Netflix Stranger Things to show the world the advanced capabilities of Nightography mode on Galaxy S22Ultra. The video pays tribute to the successful and now almost cult series, using vertical shots taken by the main cameras of the currently most equipped "flagship" of the Korean smartphone giant.

The ad, titled Make STRANGER Nights Epic, specifically shows the S108 Ultra's 22MPx primary sensor in action, which features 2,4μm pixels and advanced AI features to capture sharp videos in low-light conditions. The video aims to have a similar feel to the popular Netflix series, and ties the theme of Nightography to the events of season four.

The main photographic system of the current Ultra includes a wide-angle 108MPx sensor and an ultra-wide-angle sensor. These are complemented by a 10MPx telephoto lens and a 10MPx periscopic lens.

Samsung continues to improve the phone's camera after its launch. The June update brought improvements to sharpness, contrast, memory usage for video recording or performance in portrait mode, among others.
