Samsung has released a new beta version of its Samsung Internet browser (v18). It brings the possibility of extracting text from images you find on the Internet, and also improves tracking protection technology so that new tracking technologies cannot track your online behavior.

With the new beta version of Samsung Internet (v18), you can extract images from web pages. To do this, long-press on the selected image and tap Extract Text, which will bring up a drop-down menu that you can use to copy, share, or translate the selected text. This feature only works on phones running on Androidu 12 and the One UI 4.1.1 build, so not all smartphones can use it yet Galaxy.

Samsung has also improved its anti-tracking technology to prevent users from being tracked by newer tracking methods such as CNAME cloaking. Samsung Internet 18 will also use HTTPS by default, and this feature has been moved from the Labs section to the Privacy Dashboard menu. It is also possible to allow applications to open links directly in private mode. Samsung Internet is built on the Chromium web browser engine, and version 18 uses an updated engine (v99).
