Samsung's Next Top Flagship – Galaxy S23 Ultra - it's still a long way off, but already the first leaks about it informace, for example, about her camera. Now there is another leak, this time regarding its battery and chipset.

According to the SamMobile website, this new chipset will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which Qualcomm is expected to introduce at the end of the year. The fact that the next Ultra (and therefore the entire next flagship series of the Korean giant) will be powered by this chipset was already hinted by Qualcomm last week on the occasion of extending cooperation with Samsung, although it did not name it specifically. He also stated that his next flagship Snapdragon, unlike the previous ones, will be used exclusively by the series, so Exynos will take a break for at least the next year.

According to unofficial reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will have an unusual configuration of processor cores, namely one Cortex-X3 core, two Cortex-A720 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores and three Cortex-A510 cores. The processor unit should work with the Adreno 740 graphics chip. The chipset will reportedly be produced by TSMC's 4nm process.
