Samsung's next rugged tablet 'forgotten' Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro appeared in Google Play Console. It revealed some of its key specifications.

Galaxy The Tab Active4 Pro will use the same chip as the recently launched rugged smartphone Galaxy XCover6 Pro, i.e. Snapdragon 778G. This will be followed by 4 GB of operating memory (it is likely that this is just one of several variants).

The display will have a resolution of 1920 x 1200 px and an aspect ratio of 16:10, which are fairly standard parameters for a tablet. In terms of software, the tablet will be built on Androidat 12L, which is an offshoot Androidu 12 designed specifically for devices with large screens (in addition to tablets and foldable smartphones).

In addition, it can be expected that Galaxy The Tab Active4 Pro will come with an S Pen stylus and that it will support an IP68 degree of protection and meet the US military's MIL-STD-810G durability standard. Given that it was supposed to be introduced alongside the aforementioned rugged phone but ended up being "left out" and that earlier in the week it got certification of the Korean regulator and has now appeared on the Google Play Console, its launch should be just around the corner.
