Want to learn a new skill? It probably won't surprise you that you can learn a huge amount of new things thanks to various applications. In today's article, we will introduce you to four applications that will allow you to be a bit smarter and more handy.
Duolingo
Most people think of Duolingo when they think of "mobile language learning". It really is an app that can teach you a lot of languages in a fun, effective way. If you don't mind certain restrictions, you can use Duolingo completely free of charge. You will practice both writing and pronunciation, and you will receive virtual rewards for your success. You can also learn a foreign language with help Landigo tools.
Kitchen Stories
The Kitchen Stories app promises to teach you how to cook simple and more complex dishes, step by step, in a clear and understandable way. In addition to recipes, here you will find videos in high quality, thanks to which you will learn individual procedures for both baking and cooking. The application is suitable for beginners and advanced cooks and bakers.
Khan Academy
Khan Academy will teach you… pretty much anything. From mathematics or geometry to biology and geography to musicology. In the app, you'll find tons of free interactive courses that you can save for offline use. You can then check your knowledge in various quizzes.
wikiHow
wikiHow is an incredibly deep well of tutorials of all kinds. Do you want to get a haircut, wallpaper a bedroom, deal with a breakup or plug in a printer? The wikiHow app will help you. In addition to more or less bizarre instructions and procedures, you will also find photo and video examples here, you can save selected instructions for later offline reading.
I can recommend Duolingo for myself, and Khan Academy for my 12-year-old daughter.
On the contrary, I do not recommend installing WikiHow at all, it is completely pointless to install it as an application when its only function is a link to the website. Basically, it's just a web bookmark in the form of an app.
