In August, Samsung introduced its new flagship 4K Neo QLED TV QN100B at home. He has now demonstrated it in the USA as part of the ongoing CEDIA Expo 2022. It boasts unprecedented brightness for the best possible HDR experience.

The QN100B is a 98-inch 4K Neo QLED TV with Mini-LED technology, the brightness of which reaches up to 5000 nits. As a result, it does not have to rely on the tone mapping technique. HDR content is processed at a brightness of 4000 nits, so the TV has plenty to spare. With such a high brightness, it is practically possible to use it outdoors.

Samsung says the 14-bit TV panel can adjust brightness in 16384 steps thanks to the Neo Quantum Processor+ chipset. Of the HDR standards, the TV supports HDR10, HDR10+ Adaptive and HLG. It also allows you to watch four different video streams at once. As for audio, the novelty offers 6.4.4-channel sound with a power of up to 120 W and supports Dolby Atmos, Object Sound Tracking+ and Q-Symphony functions.

Like other Samsung smart TVs, the QN100B runs on the Tizen operating system, giving it access to music and video streaming services, voice assistants Bixby and Alexa, and apps Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus and SmartThings. The Korean giant has not yet announced the price of the TV for the American and European markets, but it is sold for 45 won (approximately CZK 000) in the Korean market.
