Samsung is the second largest tablet manufacturer in the world. At the beginning of this year, he launched a series Galaxy Tab S8, consisting of models Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra. However, the line Galaxy The Tab S9 might not be introduced as early as one might think next year.

According to The Elec website, cited by SamMobile Samsung, the development of the series Galaxy Tab S9 put away. This means that her introduction to the stage was also postponed. The reason is supposed to be lower demand for IT products, including tablets, and the recent global economic downturn. The development was originally supposed to start in December this year, but it was reportedly moved to the beginning of next year.

It is possible that the Korean giant is now planning a series Galaxy Tab S9 to be introduced in the second half of next year, along with flexible phones Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. Otherwise, the line is expected to once again consist of three models, i.e. the standard, the "plus" and the Ultra model.

Market research firms estimate that overall tablet shipments will decline this year, but sales of premium and ultra-premium tablets could increase. According to DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants), premium tablet penetration could increase from three percent this year to four percent next year.
