This time we will disappoint you. Samsung held its SDC developer conference this week, and it didn't have much room for its usual weirdness that we usually tell you about over the weekend, even if robots were there too. If you have a weekend of nothing to do, you can watch the opening Keynote of the entire event.

Samsung's best and brightest minds from technology, marketing and product came together to share a compelling vision of the future and showcase transformative technologies that will improve consumers' everyday lives and give users more time to focus on what matters most in San Francisco. After an opening speech by Jong-Hee Han, Vice Chairman, CEO and Head of Device Experience (DX) at Samsung Electronics, successive presentations revealed how the company is creating systems that help make life smarter, safer, more convenient and more connected than ever before.

There was talk of SmartThings, Matter, Bixby, the ecosystem of products and services, security and privacy, but Tizen was also mentioned, which Samsung is still betting on, at least in its smart TVs. But the main one for many may be the official presentation of One UI 5.0, whose innovations are divided into three areas: personalization, productivity and more options, and which we will see on selected devices Galaxy still this month.

Personalization included deep customization improvements such as Dynamic Lockscreen for smartphones, Watch Face Studio for Galaxy Watch and custom modes and routines, while health and security features are also more customizable than ever. Productivity it included Bixby Text Call, improved connectivity between phones and PCs, and multitasking upgrades such as an improved taskbar. More options then showcases One UI 5's integration with Samsung's innovative foldable devices and related features such as Flex Mode. However, there was also robotics in the homes of tomorrow or building a more sustainable future.
