Samsung officially unveiled the series on Wednesday Galaxy S23 and, as usual, it improved some of the hardware specs from last year's models while leaving others as they are. There was a lot of speculation about whether even the basic model will finally get 45W charging. We already know the answer.
Like its predecessor, it has a basic model Galaxy S23 by "fast" charging with a power of 25 W. Models S23 + a S23Ultra they then retain 45W fast charging. Of course, they also work with 25W chargers.
To meet EU regulations and protect the environment, Samsung does not include a charger with new phones. If her for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ or Galaxy S23 Ultra you need, you can buy a 25W or 45W charging adapter from the Korean giant separately. The company also gave the 25W charger as part of the registration of news about a new line of phones for one CZK, while its price is CZK 390.
Basically, it doesn't matter if you buy a slower or faster charger for one of the new models. Both will charge your new S23, S23+ or S23 Ultra from zero to one hundred in approximately the same time, if we are based on last year's models. You should have a full charge in about an hour. One almost wants to say why Samsung offers a 45W charger when it is only a few minutes faster than a 25W charger. You will recognize the speeds especially at the beginning of charging.
It's also worth noting that all the new models have slightly slower wireless charging than last year's (10 vs. 15 W). The power of reverse wireless charging then remained the same, i.e. 4,5 W.
So wait, in this article (link below) we are solving and Mr. Kos wrote that you are in trouble and now there is an article where you write that the S23 only has 10W wireless charging, so now I am completely in trouble. I don't understand why it's different on every website, it's a problem to state correctly or we don't know how to write it better. Probably every website shoots from just like that.. 🙁

So now I have an even bigger goulash. In the article about the absence of a satellite connection with the S23, we discuss the performance of wireless charging. Mr. Kos wrote that you are unclear about this and now there is an article that it has dropped from 15W to 10W, so what to believe? I don't understand why every site has a different mention, I don't understand. If I don't know, I'll write - we don't know. 😀
We have written a question to the Czech representative office of Samsung, as soon as we have an answer, we will set things straight.
Great, thank you.. 🙂
So the S23 has 25W wired and 10W wireless.
Reverse 4,5W
