The highest model of Samsung's new flagship series, that is Galaxy S23 Ultra, was subjected to two durability tests, the first of which included a teardown. How did it fare in the tests of popular YouTubers from the channels PBKreviews and JerryRigEverything?

The first test by a YouTuber from the PBKreviews channel confirmed that Galaxy The S23 Ultra maintains its IP68 water resistance rating after being submerged in water for three minutes. Another test examined the durability of the display. Its protective glass Gorilla Glass Victus 2 it survived coin scratches without problems, and in the mineral "scratch" test, the first scratches appeared only from level 8 on the Mohs scale. The back and cameras show the same level of scratch resistance.

Next, there was a drop resistance test. The screen of the phone was broken and the back cracked after falling onto concrete from waist height. Despite the cosmetic damage, its screen and other components remained fully functional.

As for the dissection, it found that Samsung equipped the battery with tabs that facilitate its replacement. All flex cables and connectors are neatly labeled, which also makes the repair process much easier. We can also see the evaporator chamber, which is opposite the one in Galaxy S22Ultra significantly larger. The YouTuber gave the new Ultra a very high repairability score of 9/10.

As for YouTuber JerryRigEverything's durability tests, they start with a screen scratch resistance test. The first scratches appeared on it at level 6 on the Mohs scale, while at level 7 we can see deeper grooves.

The YouTuber then exposed the screen to an open fire for about a minute, which it survived unscathed. The phone also withstood the bending test from both sides without any problems, which was certainly helped by the durable aluminum frame.

Underlined, summed up, Galaxy The S23 Ultra is a very durable smartphone, one of the most durable you can buy today. And it will be even more durable if you buy one of our recommended ones packaging.
